Amita Yadav hails from the eastern district of UP, Gorakhpur and has eight years of diverse experience in medical and public health in India, Bangladesh and the United States of America. She is currently the state representative of Clinton Foundation and working on various child and maternal health issues. She is dedicatedly working in the 40 districts of UP.
She is also on advisory board MicroXLabs Private Limited company focusing on development of medical devices. She along with her team member is the recipient of Millenium Alliance award of 2014. Prior, she was a Postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School and completed her second graduation from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. After finishing her MPH from Hopkins, she worked on various child health issues at the most renowned institute ICCDRB, Dhaka in Bangladesh. She also has doctoral degree from the Central Drug Research Institute.
